Depending on condition of plaster, all loose, hollow or painted plaster will be completely removed. Next old tile, coping, fittings, and decks are replaced. The pool shell is then power-washed and acid etched. Then a bonding coat is a applied to the surface, which allows for a strong bond with the next layer of plaster, tile or stone.
